"The road to justice depends upon suspending judgment and having recourse to a process where the adversaries have their say in

advancing arguments

The parties are presumed to stand as equals before the bar of the court and are entitled to seek justice through a due process of law.
Judges are obliged to do justice by conforming to the requirements of a due process of law.
